Trinity has a wealth of activities, and we want you to get involved! On this page, read about the following:

Sunday School Classes are offered at 8:30, 9:45, and 11:00 a.m.
Weekday Connections are happening throughout the week both on and off the church campus.
Becoming Fit at Church (BFC) offers multiple weekly fitness classes from beginner to advanced!
Fellowship and Study opportunities are available for various ages and interests.
Wednesday Night Dinner allows you to take the night off from cooking and connect with church friends.
The McKenzie Library contains a wealth of resources that are available for borrowing.

Sunday School Classes

8:30 a.m. 

Early Risers (Library) | This young adult class meets for coffee and conversation on the Word of God.

9:45 a.m.

Agape (301) | This class focuses on sharing the concepts of Agape: selfless, encouraging, and unconditional love.

Aldersgate (305) | This class has lively discussions on a wide range of topics. It is definitely not a lecture class.

Betty Phifer Class (307, hybrid) | Our full-hour class discussion (no videos) and non-traditional curriculum focus on four themes approached from a Christian perspective: devotion to God; theological and Biblical topics and history; social and political issues; and interfaith relations.

Wesley Class (Conference Room) | This class offers fellowship and study for all ages.

Just Us Gals (Groom's Room) | This women's class gathers for Bible study, lively discussions, and laughter!

11:00 a.m.

Son Servants (306) |  This class uses curriculum as a jumping-off point for deep discussions and relationship-building.

Weekday Connections

The following groups meet weekly, monthly, or occasionally at various location.

Becoming Fit at Church (BFC)

BFC offers seven weekly daytime exercise classes, from beginner to advanced, as well as open-play Pickleball on Thursday evenings. Most classes are available in-person and via Zoom. Come have FUN, FELLOWSHIP, get FIT, and help raise FUNDS for community service. For more information, email BFCSeries@yahoo.com or call the church office and leave a call-back number.

Those interested in joining us must submit registration forms prior to participating in BFC classes or Pickleball. Forms can be emailed to BFCSeries@yahoo.com, brought to the church office, or can be brought to a BFC class fifteen minutes prior to the beginning of class. Fellowship and Study

Friday Study Group

Fridays at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom
This group meets for discussion and book studies that relate to our experience as Christians in an imperfect world.

JOY Club

Quarterly daytime social activities 
Just Older Youth (JOY) is for friends who enjoy getting together quarterly for food, fellowship, and fun! As the group grows, more frequent events will be planned. Come on out and get to know your church friends! Find and register for JOY events on our Events page.

Lay Academy

Wednesdays at 4:15, 6:00, and 6:15 p.m.
We offer various Bible studies and personal interest pursuits before and after Wednesday Night Dinner.

If you have a special talent, hobby, or interest and would like to host a Wednesday evening Lay Academy class, contact our Direction of Christian Education, Candace Duclos to discuss your idea. Lay Academy is the perfect place to share your gifts and knowledge with others!

Men's Daybreak

Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. in Moor Hall 
Join Rev. Williams and Rev. Curry for breakfast and conversation on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. in Moor Hall. No registration required. If you're interested in learning more about Men's Daybreak, contact Rev. Wayne Curry.

Parenting Villa

Times and locations vary
This group of Empty Nesters gathers for dinner, laughs, fellowship, and support as they trek together through the joys and challenges of parenting grown children.

Parenting Village

Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Conference Room
These parents meet after Wednesday Night Dinner to support each other while their children are in the care of our Christian Education staff. They also arrange periodic family outings.

Women's Bible Study

Mondays at 9:00 a.m. in the Library
Start your week with conversation and Bible study led by our Senior Director of Christian Education, Candace Duclos. 

United Women in Faith

Meeting times and locations vary
Women of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds join together, committed to mission. Enjoy fellowship, education, and spiritual growth through meetings, Bible studies, and small action teams (circles). Check the Events page or call the church office for details about various circle meetings.

Young Adult Bible Study

Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. in private homes
This group meets in private homes on Tuesday evenings for Bible study, snacks, conversation, and fellowship. Call the church office or contact Rev. Opalinski at abopalinski@tumct.org to learn more.

Wednesday Night Dinner

Dinner is served in Moor Hall at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday; salad bar and kids' meals are provided in addition to a delicious weekly menu. PLEASE RSVP IN ADVANCE by using our convenient Trinity app, navigating to the website Events page, or calling the church office.

Adults (13 and over) - $12.00; Children (ages 4-12) - $6.00; Children 3 and under - free; Family (up to 2 adults + children 12 and under) - $30.00.
Cash, check, or credit/debit cards accepted. Pay when you register or select "pay later" and pay at the door. 

The McKenzie Library

The library is located on the first floor, adjacent to the Welcome Center.
McKenzie Library is Trinity’s adult resource library, which features materials for personal, intellectual, and spiritual growth. The library’s volumes include books on Methodism, Christianity, world religions, theology, devotions, parenting, and social issues, among others. The library is named for Guy and Sarah McKenzie, who were generous supporters of Trinity and its library. A large reference collection contains Bible commentaries, concordances, dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, and contemporary and historical United Methodist materials. For more information about the library or to request new materials, please contact church librarian Gloria Colvin.

Hours:
Sundays | 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Wednesdays | 4:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Church office staff can open the library at other times upon request.
Check-out Policy:
Check-out is self-service. Cards on the back of books should be signed, dated, and left in the check-out box. Books may be checked out for three weeks and should be returned to the library when it is open or to the church office when the library is closed.

Gift Policy


1. Gifts will be accepted and considered by the Library Committee for addition to the library.
2. The Library Committee will make the final decision about adding an item to the library’s collection.
3. Items added to the collection must complement the library’s mission and must be physically useful for circulation.
4. Any items not added to the collection will be donated to the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library.
5. A copy of this gift policy will be provided to anyone wanting to donate items to the library.
